Enjoy Venice from a strategic location: your home will be in a quiet Calle easily reachable from the railway station/bus terminal, at the same time you will be at a walking distance from most places of interest in Venice.
The apartment, at the top of an ancient Ventian building, has been completely renovated and equipped with quality furniture in 2013.
FEATURES:
The apartment is on the second floor and has an independent door at ground level, then, after climbing a typical steep Venetian flight of 23 steps, you will discover a large, finely decorated, stylishly furnished apartment arranged on two floors and fully equipped to host up to 10 people (using both the levels).
First level:
• Ample entrance hall with armchairs and trumeau
• Large kitchen (fully equipped with plates, cutlery, glasses, cups, pots), dining room with a long table for all people
• Living room - large, with high ceiling and wide window (4 m wide), two double sofa-beds, two armchairs and a wardrobe /library (can become an independent quadruple bedroom).
• Bedroom 1 - large, with three windows overlooking calle de l’Oca up to the Santi Apostoli church. Equipped with a big wardrobe, an armchair and an ancient dresser with mirror
• Bedroom 2 - cosy, with two windows, a wardrobe and a complete ensuite bath (with shower)
• Main bathroom – complete + second sink in antebath
Second level:
• large room (25 m sq) with double bed and living area with table, chairs and a single sofa bed
• walk-in closet
• complete bath (number 3).
The house is fully equipped: air conditioning and heating in all rooms, washing machine, drying machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, free internet WiFi connection and two Smart TVs, baby bed (to confirm upon booking), sheets and towels for you all.
The Neighbourhood
IDEAL LOCATION IN THE CORE OF VENICE:
Rialto, the Ghetto, the Churches of San Giovanni e Paolo and of Madonna dell’Orto, the Casinò close at hand, San Marco, the Accademia, i Frari and all the museums at less than half an hour walk. At 7 minutes walk you'll find the pier for the vaporetto boat to Murano and Burano.
The apartment is easily reached from Piazzale Roma (bus terminal) or Railway Station by a 20/15 minutes walk or 15/10 minutes bus boat trip, or from the Marco Polo airport by the direct Alilaguna boat service (30 minutes + 7 minutes walk) or by water taxi (15 minutes).
Getting around
FOOD & SHOPS:
A large supermarket open Monday to Sunday from 8 to 23 and plenty of shops and good restaurants are close by. Moreover, crossing the Canal Grande with the traghetto-gondola (50 cent) in less than 5 minutes you will be in the big Rialto market: the truly Venetian big fresh fish market (but also vegetable and fruits).
